MACS Australia are seeking an expression of interest for a Project Supervisor to join our Camp Refurbishment team based in the Northwest on a FIFO 8/6 roster from Perth WA.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a Supervision position within the Camp Refurbishment, Commercial Building, Fit Out or Refurb Industry.
You will be supported in the role and encouraged to guide and develop your team with an emphasis on safe practices and high standards to ensure safe and effective outcomes.
Job tasks and key responsibilities
* Lead a Safe Operational Culture
* Provide Leadership and Supervision to Site Teams
* Scheduling and Coordination of daily Site Works
* Leading the production, support and delivery of the project in line with time, cost, and quality and compliance requirements
* Provide advice, direction and support to site staff
* Scoping and assisting with scope estimates
* Co-ordination of labour resources, equipment, sub-contractors and procurement of materials
* Ability to multitask and problem solve
Qualities Required for Success
* Minimum of 2-5 years as a Building Site Supervisor
* Proven ability to motivate and manage a team of workers and contractors
* Have a high safety focus and experience
* Experience in Camp Refurbishments, Commercial Building, Fit out or Refurb Industry
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Work well and provide a positive team environment
* Problem-solving skills, ability to come up with ideas to work through issues as a team
* Cert IV Building and Construction or Front Line Management
