About us
Central Queensland Region are looking for a full time Senior Social Worker to support the Wellbeing Workforce team in schools. This position will be located in either Rockhampton or Gladstone as there is travel involved between these 2 locations as well as potential for additional travel to our western schools and regional offices. Base location will be determined following a successful recruitment process.
Responsibilities include:
* Provide supervision and management of school based wellbeing staff.
* Co-ordinate the creation and maintenance of procedures and documentation relating to network support and services in conjunction with the Senior Advisor team and regional manager.
* Collaborate with other disciplines within the wellbeing workforce to align policies and ways of working for the whole team.
* Liaise with Central Office to ensure regional needs are considered when policy and documents are being developed.
* Recruitment of new staff and development of school circuits.
