About the role Love turning numbers into insights that drive real impact? As our Business Analyst (Finance), you’ll manage end-to-end financial processes for Online Meals, including weekly payment runs, P&L reporting, and variance analysis. You’ll provide accurate, timely insights and guidance to help the team make informed decisions, while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement in reporting and processes. This role reports to the Senior Finance Manager (Adjacent Ventures) and is based in Melbourne. You’ll work closely with commercial, supply chain, operations, and marketing teams, as well as external auditors and vendors, making every day varied and full of opportunities to add value. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Support month-end close processes. Coordinate and collate financial budgets, forecasts and business plans. Ensure forecast accuracy through the inclusion of the latest market and business information. Develop action plans to deliver insightful analysis and commercial recommendations. Manage the period end process and advising financial control of necessary accruals and actions required. Maintain prepayment schedules and asset registers. About you and your skills You’re a detail-driven finance professional who loves solving problems and finding smarter ways to work. You thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to balance accuracy with agility. You’re collaborative, curious, and confident using data to tell a story. You’ll also bring: Studying towards CA/CPA or equivalent. Experience managing financial processes, including accounts payable and payment runs. Strong background in P&L reporting and variance analysis. Skills in data analysis and developing commercial insights. Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central preferred). Advanced Excel and strong IT skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
