About the Role:
We're looking for a driven and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our Queanbeyan team. Reporting to the State Sales Manager NSW, this is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your sales expertise and passion for building long-lasting customer relationships. In this role, you'll be instrumental in growing and managing a portfolio of new and existing accounts, while consistently delivering strong sales results.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Developing and maintaining existing accounts by building strong customer relationships
* Scheduling site visits and working closely with builders and clients to understand their needs
* Collaborating with internal teams and external clients to drive sales and deliver outstanding service
* Achieving sales targets and budgets through continuous performance improvement
* Managing customer complaints and implementing long-term solutions to prevent recurring issues
* Providing expert guidance to customers on Dowell products by staying up to date
* Representing the company at trade shows and industry events as required
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in sales, preferably within the building materials market
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to read a building plan
* Ability to work well autonomously and in a team
* An open, honest and authentic approach
* Strong computer literacy with the ability to use Microsoft software such as Word, Excel and Outlook
