As a member of our team, you will contribute to delivering projects that support the natural, cultural, and social resources. This includes managing projects within set frameworks, conducting research, contributing to cultural heritage assessments, preparing technical reports, participating in site inspections, surveys, salvage, and excavations, and analyzing and interpreting cultural finds.
To succeed in this role, you should be degree-qualified in archaeology, cultural heritage management, anthropology, or a related field. You should also be passionate about Indigenous heritage, an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, willing to travel and work in the field, honest, authentic, and committed to continuous learning.
You will have opportunities to develop your knowledge in legislation and policy relating to cultural heritage, research and technical reporting, fieldwork, data analysis, and community consultation. We focus on empowering our team members to grow professionally and personally.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing projects in line with our management systems
* Conducting research and contributing to cultural heritage assessments
* SUPPORTING THE PREPARATION OF TECHNICAL REPORTS AND MANAGEMENT DOCUMENTS
* Participating in site inspections, surveys, salvage, and excavations
* Undertaking Aboriginal community consultation activities
* Analyzing and interpreting cultural finds
