We are employing Maintenance Workers (Handyperson) to complete general repairs and preventative maintenance tasks for our residential aged care client in Young NSW.
This role would really suit an all rounder/handyperson who can work Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm.
Duties include:
- Provide a range of general property repairs. For example: patching and painting, basic plumbing and carpentry, moving furniture, high pressure cleaning, changing door handles or hinges and lock and maintaining site grounds.
- Able to carry out preventative and corrective maintenance work.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, contractors and staff
- Work within the WHS guidelines to ensure a safe workplace.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous maintenance experience. (Trade qualifications are not essential).
- Knowledge of WHS requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic/moderate computer skills
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Previous experience in a aged care, preferred but not essential.
- Reliable transport and a licence
