Behaviour Support Practitioner
Job Description
* Act as a positive role model and advocate for individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
* Develop and deliver personalized support plans, tailored to the unique needs and goals of each participant.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including families, carers, and other professionals, to ensure seamless support and care.
* Provide ongoing training and mentoring to less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners, fostering growth and development within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Current suitability confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission at the Core or Proficient level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
* Experience in mentoring and supervising other Behaviour Support Practitioners, with a strong focus on professional development and growth.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills, enabling effective caseload management and prioritisation.
* Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas, with a genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
