A unique opportunity: a new CEO, a new Executive Assistant, and a chance to create a powerhouse partnership.
REIWA is entering an exciting new chapter with the arrival of our new CEO in November — and we're looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to join them from day one. This is more than just calendar management; this is about building a trusted partnership that brings energy, clarity, and impact to the business.
About the Role
As Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will be the bridge between the CEO and the wider organisation. You'll help set the pace, maintain focus, and ensure that every interaction counts. From streamlining communications and synthesising information, to keeping a pulse check on culture and team sentiment, you'll be at the heart of driving effectiveness across REIWA.
You will:
* Manage the CEO's diary and communications, ensuring time and information are used strategically.
* Shape the rhythm of the CEO's day to allow time for focus, reflection, and meaningful conversations.
* Act as a sounding board and challenger, helping the CEO think differently and stay connected to people and priorities.
* Build strong relationships across the organisation, listening, spotting opportunities, and surfacing important insights.
* Support Council and leadership meetings — preparing papers, following up actions, and ensuring clarity of outcomes.
* Provide the CEO with structured, priority-aligned information to support effective decision-making
What We're Looking For
You are not just organised — you are commercially savvy, people-focused, and future-oriented. You know how to manage competing priorities while keeping sight of the bigger picture.
* Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a CEO or senior leader.
* Proven experience in board management, including preparation of agendas, accurate meeting minutes, and oversight of compliance and governance requirements.
* Tech savvy, with strong skills in Microsoft Office, digital tools, and inbox/calendar management.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills — able to build trust and influence at every level.
* Commercial and business acumen — able to anticipate what information, insights, and preparation the CEO needs.
* Professionalism, discretion, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
* Bonus: experience in member-based or not-for-profit organisations.
* With its breadth and influence, this role can serve as a stepping stone to future opportunities at REIWA.
