Senior Nurse Leader
The role of Senior Nurse Leader involves providing strategic leadership and management to nursing teams in delivering high-quality patient care.
As a key leader of the interdisciplinary team, the Senior Nurse Leader ensures that the unit meets the requirements for delivery of a patient-centered service against key performance indicators: quality, human resources, and professional development.
The position provides a consultation and liaison service within their area of expertise to relevant internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing strategic leadership and management to nursing teams.
* Developing solutions and delivering outcomes aligned with organisational imperatives and targets.
* Ensuring the unit meets the requirements for delivery of a patient-centered service against key performance indicators.
This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Postgraduate qualification in nursing or a related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role.
