Job Title: Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar
An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join a highly proficient department as an Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar in a primary referral hospital for the region.
This position will serve as a Medical Practitioner, encountering high-acuity cases and a diverse range of clinical experiences.
The Maternity Unit
The maternity unit serves as the hub for birthing and inpatient maternity care, with antenatal and postnatal services extended to the region. With around 1000 births annually, the unit boasts a team of skilled midwives.
For high-risk births, collaboration with other hospitals in Tasmania is supported by local endocrinology and diabetic teams. Additionally, the unit is backed by a Level 4 Neonatal Unit and an 8-bed Level 4 Intensive Care Unit.

Eligibility
* General, Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA
* IMGs that have completed at least the AMC MCQ (part 1) or completed both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam)
* IMGs eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)
* IMGs assessed by RANZCOG College as partially or substantially comparable (doctors currently interviewing with RANZCOG may express their interest)
* Non CA country: Have 7+ years of international experience working as an O&G Registrar
