Senior Social Worker - Pregnancy and Parenting Service
About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our team in providing specialist counselling and case management support services for pregnant women and their children.
Key Responsibilities:
">

* To provide high-quality, client-centered care to pregnant women and their children who are impacted by substance use or other issues that may affect parenting capacity.
">
* To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care is provided to clients.
">
* To develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
">
* To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress.
">
* To participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of new programs and services.
">

Requirements:
">
">
* Tertiary qualifications in Social Work and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
">
* Extensive post-graduate clinical experience in drug and alcohol counselling as well as child protection, domestic violence and/or family relationship issues.
">
* Demonstrated experience with using advanced reasoning skills including the preparation of high-quality written and oral reports, and comprehensive care plans.
">
* Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based psychosocial interventions for addressing domestic violence, child abuse or neglect issues and/or harmful patterns of parental substance use.
">
* Demonstrated knowledge and extensive experience in maintaining professional boundaries and ethical practice when working with families and other service providers.
">
* Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purposes travel.
