The Clinical Nurse (CN) within the Sunshine Coast Persistent Pain Management Service (SCPPMS) provides advanced, person-centred nursing care for patients with complex and persistent pain needs. Practising autonomously, the CN delivers expert clinical decision-making, leads comprehensive care coordination, and supports multidisciplinary teamwork.
Key Responsibilities include:
Provides nursing in health service settings.
Is responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care/leadership, management, education and/or research.
Provides leadership in clinical decision making to give and/or coordinate care to particular recipients of healthcare services.
Assumes responsibility for professional leadership for a ward, service or unit in the absence of the Nurse Grade 7.
Remuneration value up to $119 554 p.a, comprising salary rates $57.48 - $61.55 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1) (part time position, 67 hrs p.f.). Applications will remain current for 12 months / the duration of the vacancy.
