Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist
This comprehensive mental health service provides a wide range of treatment and care to a community of approximately 265,000 people. The service delivers support across the full spectrum of mental health needs.
Job Description:
The successful applicant will be primarily based in an adult inpatient unit, where they will be responsible for the direct clinical management and treatment of individuals aged 18 to 65 experiencing complex mental illness.
In this role, you will work closely with other adult mental health teams, including psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, psychologists, and administrative staff.
You will also be involved in outpatient services, such as post-discharge follow-up and ongoing community-based care.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
* Qualifications: Medical degree and specialist qualifications in psychiatry
* Experience: Proven experience in managing complex mental illness
* Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
