About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join our team as an Employment Support Specialist. In this critical role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals with disabilities to thrive in the workplace.
As an Employment Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored support to customers based on their Job Plans, ensuring that their needs for assistance are met. This includes providing verbal and physical support, identifying priority customers, updating Job Plans, and maintaining accurate customer records.
Your expertise and skills will enable you to build strong relationships with customers, employers, and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless employment experiences. You will also contribute to maintaining excellent services, achieving employment goals, and promoting a positive working relationship.
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant post-secondary qualification, experience in disability or Government funded employment services, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, they will have high-level priority management and problem-solving skills, and demonstrate understanding of the National Standards for Disability Services and Community Inclusion philosophy.
