About the opportunity The Handover Supervisor works closely with our service team, reports to the State Service and Warranty Manager and is part of the MJH Service and Warranty team. The key focus of this role is to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained whilst supporting the Construction team throughout the Practical Completion Process, Defect Liability Period through to the end of the Warranty Period. More specifically, you will:
Inspect buildings against the relevant Building Act, Codes, and associated regulations
Prepare handover inspection reports and associated documentation in accordance with company policy
Support the construction team at practicable completion and new home handover to our clients
Attend to 90-day post-build service inspection
Arrange for the supply of goods and services where necessary, covering the defect liability period items and warranty requests
Resolve after sales service issues for customers
Continually improving company processes and liaising with the Service & Warranty Manager to minimise building practices that produce after sales maintenance requirements
Ensure compliance with WH&S policies and processes
Take part in a rotational after-hours emergency line on-call duty
About you You will share a passion for our purpose to be Australia’s number one residential builder and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate:
A trade background preferably Carpentry, Certificate IV in Building Management or similar experience
Sound knowledge of Construction and the building process within the Residential Housing Industry
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong planning and organising skills
Adaptable and strong problem solving skills
Current-driver’s license
