Job Summary:

About the Role:
As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for mentoring and inspiring your team daily, supporting the Store Manager in coaching and developing their knowledge and skills, and consistently providing an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead by example and mentor your team to achieve and develop their knowledge and skills
• Support the Store Manager in managing stock effectively and maintaining visual merchandising standards
• Demonstrate initiative by keeping your knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services
• Recruit, onboard, and induct new team members
• Proactively support local marketing opportunities and sponsorships
Requirements:
• Experience in a similar store leadership role or readiness to take the next step up in your retail management career
• Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and build a high-performing team while fostering a positive culture
• Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities, ensuring timely completion of tasks
• Established business acumen
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and the wider team
