Key Responisibilities Include
- Manage the co-ordination of external regulatory quality assessments and OQI responses
- Independently lead root cause investigations to identify state-wide Quality Management System gaps and ensure identified process improvements are implemented state-wide
- Manage implementation and continual improvement of the CPHS internal audit program, including delivering specialised auditor training, scheduling, undertaking and reporting on compliance audit outcome and trends.
- Evaluation of identified improvements to provide value for PQ and its clients.
- Provide high-level interpretation and review of revised / new regulatory and legislative requirements to senior management.
- Lead and manage the state-wide External Quality Assurance Program including identification and reporting of trends at CPHS.
Key competencies
- Ability to analyse, design and document efficient best practice integrated end-to-end quality system processes.
- Audit experience including ability to co-ordinate, perform, report and respond to complex regulatory compliance audits across scientific disciplines.
- High level knowledge of and experience in providing management advice with respect to, standards (NATA/NPAAC, TGA, ISO 9001), QIS and the Clinical Governance and Quality Management Framework.
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including report preparation, the ability to negotiate, positively influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability and proven success in contributing to building and sustaining continual process improvement culture within a large and diverse organisation.
Qualifications, registrations and other requirements
- The successful applicant must hold a Bachelor of Science degree or an equivalent qualification. The following qualifications/competencies are highly desirable:
- Business management
- Auditing
- QIS Administrator
