We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Support Officer to join our maintenance team in Wanneroo for immediate start. This full-time role will be responsible for supporting our team with hands-on maintenance tasks at our Elderbloom premises. This role will support our Maintenance Officer and Maintenance Supervisor to upkeep our sites, maintain a safe environment for residents to live in and maintain the presentation of our sites. Our maintenance team provide a high-quality service to ensure a safe, comforting and welcoming environment, and are looking for someone with a proactive approach to join the team.

As a Maintenance Support Officer at Elderbloom you will be responsible for:
* Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks as per schedules.
* Undertake minor repairs, cleaning tasks (internal & external), and general upkeep.
* Maintain inventory, stock levels, and order supplies as needed.
* Ensure safe and cost-effective use of equipment and materials.
* Report maintenance issues, hazards, and resident-related concerns promptly.
* Support safe disposal of waste and materials.
* Work collaboratively with care and maintenance teams.
* Provide helpful, respectful, and proactive service to residents and families.
* Follow WHS guidelines and promptly report hazards, incidents, and near misses.
* Promote and maintain a safe working environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
* Adhere to the Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational procedures.
To be a successful applicant you will have:
* Experience in maintenance, handyman work, or facility support in an Aged Care setting.
* Knowledge of aged care environments (advantage but not essential).
* Ability to work independently and as a team member
* Proof of current flu vaccination status
* Current National Police Certificate (minimum of 6 months) or willing to undergo a Criminal Clearance check
* Right to work in Australia.
