**The role**:
Right now, we have a **Sales **position available. This position is based at our **Launceston **store on a **part-time** basis, with approximately 18 hours per week. The successful applicant must be able to work weekends.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer service from the public and via our website
- Advise customers on the status of their order and follow-up queries
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients
**Skills and experience**:
You will have a high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent time management skills. You will be able to prioritise and re-prioritise effectively. Well-presented with a warm, friendly, resilient, and team-spirited personality, you are able to show initiative, be reliable, responsible and punctual.
- Experience and understanding of sales / retail environments
- An energetic and enthusiastic approach with a willingness to engage customers.
- Strong initiative, motivation, and enthusiasm.
- Demonstrate a customer focus in all behaviours which may include handling challenging and complex customer service enquiries
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to use active listening and questioning skills
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills to provide solutions to customer needs in a timely manner
- A friendly, responsible, positive nature and a pro-active, problem solver demeanor

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $23.59 - $31.38 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week

**Experience**:
- Point of Sale (POS) software: 2 years (preferred)
- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 2 years (required)
