Our agency is seeking a highly skilled maintenance professional.
We are partnering with the SA Housing Authority to find Maintenance Field Officers, with a background in Asset/Facilities Management or Construction. These roles will be offered on a direct contract.
As part of your new role, you will monitor the progress of works coordinated by contractors against expected timeframes and quality standards; you will mitigate risk and escalate matters where quality and/or timeframe is compromised. You will liaise with contractors, tenants, internal staff and other stakeholders to share information, manage relationships and drive a responsive maintenance service.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
- Prior experience in Asset/ Facilities Management/Construction, with a strong trade background or relevant building qualification.
- An unencumbered Driver's License and clearance (essential)
- A willingness to undertake travel daily through your appointed region (metro SA)
- Strong written & verbal communication skills, with excellent report writing capabilities
- The ability to successfully work autonomously and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent time management
- Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills
