About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for supporting staff, medical officers, and families as they navigate complex care needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Patient Guidance
o Provide expert guidance on patient care in hospice and community settings.
o Evaluate nursing interventions and recommend effective management strategies.
* Team Collaboration
o Promote a collaborative team approach to optimize patient care.
o Raise awareness of palliative care services among community groups and healthcare professionals.
* Quality Improvement
o Coordinate initiatives for quality improvement and participate in relevant nursing research projects.
Requirements
* A Registered Nurse with advanced clinical competence and substantial experience in palliative care.
* Proven skills in planning, coordination, and decision making, demonstrating a proactive approach to patient care.
* Well-developed leadership abilities and experience in fostering team dynamics.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
* Strong understanding of risk management and quality management principles as they pertain to healthcare.
