WorkPac Health and Social Care is seeking passionate and experienced Registered Nurses to join our team in New South Wales. The role involves supporting the medical management and healthcare of inmates, including patient assessments and health plan management. You will work within Australia's largest correctional facility, utilizing modern facilities and equipment. Your safety is our priority, with full support provided.
About Our Client
Our client manages a large maximum-security prison housing male inmates of various security classifications. The facility is known for its modern infrastructure and focus on rehabilitative programs.
What You Will Be Doing
1. Promoting inmate rehabilitation and reintegration
2. Implementing and managing patient care plans
3. Ensuring safety and security of inmates and the community
4. Providing comprehensive and accurate health assessments
What You Will Need
1. Current AHPRA Registration
2. Minimum of 2+ years full-time post-graduate experience (or part-time equivalent)
3. Experience in primary health, rural health, or emergency nursing (desirable)
4. ALS Certification (valid for 12 months)
5. National Criminal History Check (issued within the last 3 months)
6. Two doses of COVID-19 vaccination
7. Own vehicle required
