* 16 hours between Monday & Friday from 9am – 5pm (with one hour for lunch). Additional hours may be available

Wendy Tuckerman MP, Member for Goulburn, is seeking Expressions of Interest for an Electorate Officer, with work available from April to July, with the possibility of extension.
This role suits someone who is community‐minded, confident engaging with the public, and motivated to support people through issues that matter to them.
About the position
Electorate Officers are the first point of contact for constituents seeking assistance. The role involves answering enquiries, listening carefully to concerns, and helping people navigate a range of issues - some straightforward, others complex or emotionally challenging. The position requires sound judgement, professionalism and a willingness to investigate issues and identify practical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Responding to constituent enquiries in person, by phone and email
* Liaising with Ministerial Offices, government agencies and community organisations
* Preparing correspondence, briefings and submissions
* Undertaking research and analysis of policy and local issues
* Supporting the day‐to‐day administration of the electorate office

* Confidence using computers and office systems and the ability to learn new programs
Previous experience in politics, administration, government, community services, or customer‐facing roles is highly regarded.
