As demand for renewable energy and major infrastructure grows, so does the need for strong ecological leadership. We're looking for a Senior Ecologist to join our expanding Ecology team and play a key role in delivering high-impact projects across Australia.
This is more than a technical position. It's an opportunity to influence how biodiversity services are delivered, mentor others, and help shape the direction of a growing ecology capability within a national consultancy.

What will you be doing?
* Facilitate high-quality project delivery across your biodiversity and ecology space
* Preparing and reviewing technical reports and assessments
* Leading site inspections and managing field teams
* Driving continuous improvement in processes and service delivery
* Managing project budgets, timelines, and resourcing
* Coordinating internal teams and resources for your project
* Building strong client relationships and contributing to repeat work and growth
About You
* You are a confident, experienced ecologist who thrives on responsibility and collaboration:
* Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM) Accreditation (essential)
* Tertiary qualifications in environmental science or a related discipline
* Proven experience working independently across field, office, and remote sites
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
* A solid understanding of QA processes and technical governance
* A collaborative mindset with confidence in managing client relationships
