Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for electrical panel construction and assembly, troubleshooting motor control systems and industrial PLC control systems, and providing support for the installation of new electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, assemble, and test electrical panels
2. Troubleshoot complex electrical control systems and provide solutions
3. Install and commission new electrical equipment
4. Create detailed electrical drawings using CAD software
Requirements
* Certificate or Diploma in Higher Engineering Trade
* At least 10 years' experience in electrical field, design, and commissioning control systems
* Current NSW Electrical Licence
* A safety-first approach
* Strong attention to detail with ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
* Basic to intermediate level PLC and HMI software skills
* Familiarity with industrial sensors and signalling
* Electronic skills - PCB assembly, troubleshooting, circuit drawing interpretation
