The Business Coordination Unit (BCU), Health Protection NSW (HPNSW) is looking for an experienced business support officer. The ideal candidate is:
* Exceptionally organised.
* Can multi-task with ease.
* Is an experienced and proficient minute taker for meetings with high-level and complex content.
* Has advanced writing skills and very high attention to detail.
This is a senior business support role with a busy workload that the Manager truly appreciates and relies on greatly to deliver on set tasks.

Health Manager Level 1 starting salary from $87,813 - $116,824 Super, with a 38-hour work week.
What you'll be doing
The business support officer role provides secretariat support for multiple meetings, including the statewide Health Protection Leadership Team and Bug Breakfast, HPNSW directors meeting and multiple other HPNSW-wide meetings. The role is relied upon to produce polished draft minutes and actions that require minimum corrections.
The role covers periodically for the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director HPNSW, and other administrative support roles across the branch, requiring exceptional calendar management skills, and periodic cover as the ministerial coordinator of HPNSW. The role is expected to take the lead and coordinate branch-wide administrative requests and matters and contribute to administrative preparations for a public health emergency response.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
* Proven experience in business and secretariat support, including experienced and proficient minute-taker with advanced writing skills, high attention to detail, and exceptional organisation and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities to required and tight timeframes
* Experience in providing executive assistance to members of the senior executive and proficiency in calendar and inbox management
* Experienced and high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications, Content Manager (super user), eApproval, Team/SharePoint and website content creation
* Experience in performing financial administrative tasks and aware of financial delegations
* Professional who can maintain and update administrative practices, systems and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery with an ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
