The Role
Defence has an ongoing requirement for a Project Manager to work in support of the National Cyber Defence Program on complex projects within an integrated workforce.
Skills
Project Managers must be able to demonstrate several years’ experience successfully managing projects that have delivered key capability products within either a Business or ICT Program. In addition, Candidates must be able to demonstrate core project management, communication and leadership skills that enable them to:
* initiate, plan, document and resource their projects;
* manage project governance and delivery;
* accurately report progress;
* articulate risk;
* solve issues and problems;
* engage stakeholders;
* lead their team;
* brief Project Boards; and
* operate in a collaborative and collegiate style.
Essential criteria
Demonstrated successful delivery of one or more of the following:
1. On premise, cloud or hybrid Enterprise platforms
2. Major Network deployments
3. Big Data solutions either on premise or in the Cloud
