About the role
The Destination and Marketing Officer plays a crucial role in promoting the Central Coast brand and delivering effective marketing strategies that resonate with our audiences. This position requires a proactive individual who can coordinate marketing activities, manage projects, and ensure the delivery of high-quality promotional materials.
You will be responsible for engaging with internal and external stakeholders to implement initiatives that align with the Destination Management Plan and corporate marketing strategies. Your contributions will help enhance community engagement and support the overall mission of the Council.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable professional with a strong background in marketing and project management.
* Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* Proven track record in delivering strategic and creative marketing initiatives.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
* Strong organisational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to quality customer service and have the ability to foster positive relationships with stakeholders. A keen understanding of branding and marketing principles is essential to thrive in this role.

* *The commencing salary for this position is up to $45.60 per hour. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $52.84 per hour on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation*
* We have a temporary part-time role until March 2027.
* This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building
