We aim high and jump higher—driven by community, innovation and high performance.We proudly represent the people of Tasmania in everything we do: on the court, in the stands and throughout the community.About the OpportunityWe're looking for a creative, dynamic and strategic Head of Marketing & Events to join our Communications & Brand team.In this hands-on leadership role, you'll bring the JackJumpers' story to life—driving campaigns, elevating the fan experience and shaping the marketing direction for both our NBL program and our new Tasmanian WNBL team.Reporting to the General Manager – Communications & Brand, this is a full-time, permanent position with weekend work required during NBL and WNBL seasons.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop campaigns, communications and initiatives that make game days unforgettable and deepen our connection with fansDrive marketing communications including EDMs, email strategy, database segmentation, automation and optimisation through data analysisLead digital strategy across social media, website, content marketing and CRMCollaborate with operations and events teams to deliver world-class entertainment and fan activationsEstablish and execute marketing plans that support all key revenue drivers—memberships, ticketing, digital, merchandise and corporate hospitalityEnsure brand consistency and strength across all channels, campaigns and touchpointsOversee creative development for campaigns, storytelling and visual identity that truly reflect who we are as a clubChampion a fan-first culture, ensuring everything reflects the heart of Tasmania and the JackJumpers communityUse fan insights and data to continually refine marketing initiatives and engagement strategiesAct as the connective tissue between marketing, design, partnerships, community and content functions, supporting teams across the businessWhat Success Looks LikeSuccess is measured by members returning season after season and fans leaving games buzzing.
