Central Power is a Local Service Agent for Powercor and is looking for a qualified Distribution Lineworker (ideally with Glove and Barrier experience) to join our team based out of our Charlton depot.
Candidates must be willing and able to potentially participate in a rotating availability roster for fault rectification.
Essential qualifications: Electrical trade qualification (Certificate III in ESI Power Systems Distribution or equivalent), current EWP licence, and valid driver's licence.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
1. COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES;
* Construct and maintain overhead and underground distribution structures and supply lines
* Construct and maintain public lighting systems
* Erect and maintain services, meters and time-switches
* Locate and rectify faults on the distribution system
* Undertake operating on the distribution system
* Design new Distribution Overhead and Underground systems
* Design upgrades for existing Overhead and Underground systems
* Undertake all activities in a safe, timely and efficient manner
2. ADHERENCE TO WORK PRACTICES AND PROCEDURES;
* Comply with individual responsibilities for OH&S
* Comply with other relevant codes, regulations and acts
* Adhere to work practices, standards and procedures, incl. those relating to single man operations
* Take due care of all CENTRAL POWER vehicles, plant and equipment
* Participate in regular Work Group Meetings
3. CUSTOMER SERVICE;
* Maintain / improve the service requirements of electricity suppliers' customer charter
* Maintain / improve relationships and partnerships consistent with customer satisfaction
* Ensure adherence to quality policies and procedures
4. ENVIRONMENT;
