Role Purpose

Manage the delivery of Workplace projects. This includes responsibility for the following process areas:

* Project planning: Plan out the required tasks that need to be completed done along a timeline.
* Risk assessment: Identify and manage any risks associated with completing the project.
* Budgeting: Formulate the project budget then report on how the project is tracking against its financial plan.
* Stakeholder engagement / communication: Work with project stakeholders
* Resourcing: Ensure the correct resources are planned and assigned to deliver the required outcomes.
* Leadership: Ensure project team members remain motivated, on task and effective.
* Time management: Ensure the project is scheduled to an appropriate level. Manage and update the schedule as the project progresses.
* Change Control: Adjust and update the plan when circumstances change
* Reporting: Monitor progress and regularly report back to key stakeholders.
* Process Improvement: review and report on the project outcomes when completed


Essential Skills and Experience

* 8 + years experience managing and successfully delivery of construction and fit out projects.
* Experience with SAP Project Management, Procurement and Contract systems would be well regarded, also risk management, safety, site access, drawing, maintenance and asset management systems required
* Experience in managing and delivering government projects required, with associated and demonstrated project examples provided and referenced
* Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in different project delivery approaches, including waterfall,
* Demonstrated proficiency in identifying and managing avoidable project risks including reputational risk triggers, resolve issues in a proactive and timely manner; monitor and report progress.
* NEC4 contract management and administration.
* Able to work effectively within a team and autonomously.
* Experience in project scheduling software (either Microsoft Project / Primavera)
* 12-months (Feb 2026 – Feb 2027),
* 3/4 days per week attending work sites and 2 at Parramatta office.
