We are seeking the expertise of a Business Development Manager who can grow existing accounts and seek new business for the Adelaide southern suburbs.
Some regional travel will be involved on a quarterly basis.
You will need to be a strong leader.
You will have a team of In Store Merchandisers that report to you and help your region be a great success!
You need to be passionate about our product, know how to meet the needs of the consumer and understand the changing needs of a FMCG environment.
This position requires a proactive approach with the ability to handle multiple tasks as we are a fast-moving consumer goods company with seasonally driven deadlines.
A background in Greeting Cards, Cosmetic or Fashion Industries as well as experience in direct selling or similar industries will be highly regarded.
If you currently work in retail and would like a role that does not require you to work weekends, then this may be the job for you!
What will be your Skill set?
Initiate and increase sales in a profitable manner.Proactively Lead, Manage and Develop In Store Merchandisers.Source and secure new business within retail locations that meet Company targets.Drive sales in existing accounts to financial forecasts, whilst not exceeding the expense budget.Demonstrate proven negotiating skills with retailers within a highly competitive marketplace.Work independently where required.Minimum 5 years design and product experience in fast moving consumer products.
This is not a graduate role.Have the right to work in Australia beyond 2 years.Flexibility:
This position is field based and reports directly to the State Sales Manager, South Australia.
