We are seeking an experienced and values-driven General Manager, Corporate Services to join our Executive Leadership Team during a critical period of aged care reform and organisational transformation.
About You
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the General Manager, Corporate Services is a senior executive leader responsible for the organisation's financial sustainability, corporate governance, infrastructure, and enterprise risk management.
The role ensures that Fairview Village's financial frameworks, contracts, systems and assets are fit for purpose under the new Aged Care Act, the Retirement Villages Act, and Support at Home reforms, while enabling safe, high-quality, person-centred services across residential care, retirement living, and community-based support.
As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the role partners closely with the CEO, Board, and Executive Team to ensure Fairview Village remains viable, compliant, transparent and resilient in a consumer-led, outcomes-focused regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Executive oversight of all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, cash flow management, and Aged Care Financial Report (ACFR) submissions
* Lead financial and corporate readiness for the new Aged Care Act, Support at Home funding reforms, and obligations under the Retirement Villages Act
* Provide strategic leadership in governance, risk management, and compliance, including prudential and internal control frameworks
* Oversee contracts, procurement, and commercial arrangements, ensuring value for money and regulatory compliance
* Lead property, maintenance and capital works planning across residential aged care and retirement living assets
* Ensure corporate systems, ICT and data capability support financial transparency, service costing and regulatory reporting
* Build, lead, and develop high-performing corporate services teams
* Partner with the CEO, Board and Executive Leadership Team to support organisational sustainability and reform readiness
Academic Qualifications and Work Experience Skills
* Senior executive experience leading corporate services and/or finance functions
* Demonstrated expertise in financial sustainability, governance, risk and compliance
* Experience overseeing contracts, procurement and property or asset management
* Strong understanding of aged care reform, including the new Aged Care Act, Support at Home model, and Retirement Villages Act
* Proven ability to support CEOs and Boards in complex, high-accountability environments
* A leadership style aligned with not-for-profit purpose and community values
* Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, business or a related discipline
* CPA or CA qualification (highly desirable)
