This position calls for a dynamic individual who can seamlessly combine a passion for conservation with practical skills in land management and community collaboration. As a Resource Ranger, you'll be at the forefront of managing some of Queensland's most iconic landscapes, contributing to threatened species protection, pest and weed control, and fire management. You'll also play an active role in maintaining park infrastructure and engaging with stakeholders to promote sustainable park use and conservation.
Nestled in the breathtaking Mossman/Cape Tribulation region, this role offers the unique opportunity to work amidst natural wonders like the Daintree Rainforest, where your efforts will help preserve its ecological and cultural significance. From collaborating with Traditional Owners and local communities to carrying out vital onground work, you'll be a key part of a team dedicated to protecting Queensland's natural heritage.
If you thrive on working outdoors, have a love for environmental science, and relish hands-on, physical work, this is the role for you. Whether you're conducting pest management, supporting emergency responses, or contributing to National Park Management Plans, you'll make a real impact on the legacy of Queensland's parks.
We're looking for someone who is energetic, self-motivated, and ready to embrace the challenges and rewards of this fulfilling role. If you're ready to make a difference,
we encourage you to apply and become part of a team that's safeguarding Queensland's majestic environments for future generations.
