**Key Responsibilities:**
* Engage in the entire design lifecycle, from concept and detailed design to commissioning and handover.
* Develop technical specifications, equipment sizing, and perform calculations.
* Prepare engineering deliverable lists.
* Provide innovative solutions to complex challenges in brownfield projects.
**Requirements:** A tertiary degree in Electrical Engineering with a strong understanding of engineering fundamentals. 5+ years of experience. RPEQ certification is advantageous. Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is desired. A working knowledge of Australian Standards. Experience in heavy industry projects, such as Mining, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Distribution. Experience in detailed electrical installation scoping and reviews. Instrumentation experience, including understanding P&IDs and developing instrument loop and connection drawings. Control system integration and communication systems design experience. Power system study experience (Load Flow, Short Circuit, Arc Flash, relay coordination, and earthing design) is highly desired. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to ask questions and find optimal solutions. Relevant experience working in Australia.
