The Role
Austrade is seeking an experienced Drupal (GovCMS) Developer to support the rebuild, enhancement and ongoing maintenance of a number of Austrade websites hosted on the GovCMS SaaS platform.
This is an ongoing role that focuses on post-build support, enhancements, defect resolution and continuous improvement.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary digital delivery team, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, business analysts and delivery partners to ensure Austrade's websites are stable, accessible, secure and aligned with government standards.
Duties Include
* Support, maintain and enhance Drupal websites hosted on the GovCMS SaaS platform.
* Implement fixes, enhancements and new features within existing codebases delivered by external build partners.
* Work with business analysts to translate documented requirements into technical solutions.
* Debug and resolve issues across development, test and production environments.
* Develop and update front-end components using HTML and CSS, ensuring responsive and accessible outcomes.
* Ensure websites meet WCAG accessibility standards, security requirements and GovCMS guidelines.
* Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge transfer activities.
* Participate in code reviews and follow established development and release processes.
* Collaborate effectively with internal team members and external vendors in an Agile delivery environment.
* Support continuous improvement of Austrade's digital platforms and development practices.
