Yallambee Traralgon Village for the Aged Inc. is a community-based Not-For-Profit service comprising Margery Cole, a residential aged care facility, and an Independent Living Village. Yallambee has exciting opportunities for experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our clinical services team, supported by an Executive Clinical Operations Manager and clinical care coordinators.
The successful candidates will be part of a dynamic clinical team focused on understanding each resident's needs to optimize their health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Delivering high standards of resident care
* Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Standards, Yallambee policies, RN Standards of Practice, and our mission and values
* Maintaining accurate documentation including assessments, care plans, and AN-ACC documentation
* Managing incidents and clinical risks
* Conducting ongoing assessments and reviews
* Collaborating with health professionals, residents, and families
* Participating in audits and quality improvement activities
* Roster management outside business hours
* Mentoring and supporting care staff
* Providing clinical management and problem-solving
Key Selection Criteria:
* Current AHPRA registration
* Excellent time management and adaptability
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Leadership and management experience
* Person-centered approach to care
* Experience in Aged Care preferred
* Knowledge of AN-ACC
* Experience managing staff and leading teams
* Organizational skills and ability to handle conflicting demands
