As a Navigation Systems Technician Nuclear Submariner, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining the submarine's navigation and communication systems that get your submarine to its destination.
Your duties may include:
* Maintaining, repairing and calibrating navigation equipment
* Operating, monitoring and maintaining radar, gyrocompass, inertial navigation, and global positioning systems
* Maintaining equipment used to detect, identify, and track other maritime vessels
* Maintaining accurate navigation data and develop and execute navigation plans.

Salary:
Upon completion of your initial military and employment training, you'll enjoy a salary package starting from $107,814.
Period of Service requirements:
General Entry Sailor roles now have an Initial Minimum Period of Service (IMPS) between 2 and 3 years for all applicants.
Eligibility:
* For this role, you must be at least 17 at the time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen, and completed Year 12 (no ATAR required), with passes in Year 10 English and Maths. Note: Consumer Maths, Maths in Society and similarly 'modified' maths are not suitable for this job. Year 10 Trade and Business Maths is acceptable.
