As an Asbestos Remover and Demolition Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient removal of asbestos-containing materials and assisting with various demolition projects. You will also actively contribute to our focus on recycling and sustainability. This is a full-time position with consistent work, offering 40+ hours per week. Work all over Brisbane, with a primary focus on the north side, including surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
Safely remove asbestos in compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Assist in demolition projects, including dismantling structures, sorting materials, and recycling efforts.
Handle and transport materials with care and precision.
Collaborate with the team to maintain a safe and organized work setting.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, promoting a hazard-free workplace.
Support recycling initiatives and environmentally conscious practices.
Requirements:
Prior experience in asbestos removal and demolition work is ideal.
Possession of an asbestos ticket (asbestos removal license) is ideal but not required.
White Card (Construction Induction Training Card) to work on construction sites.
Working at Heights certification for tasks requiring elevated work.
Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of the job.
