Are you ready to join the dynamic team at Animals on the Move, a leading mobile petting zoo in Gembrook.
We are currently looking to fill the positions of Animal Farm assistants with drivers license.
Applicants must hold a full car licence.
Responsibilities
As a crucial part of our operations, you will be responsible for setting up educational displays and hands-on farmyards for public interaction across various locations in Melbourne. Shifts may vary in timing, with early starts as well as potential late finishes (up to 11pm), although not typically on the same day.
Candidates must possess the physical capability to lift and transport heavy fencing and animal boxes over distances of at least 30 meters.
While confidence in handling various animals is essential, it is crucial to understand that this role is not solely about playing with animals.
Farm animal experience is required for this position.
Effective communication skills are a must, as you will be interacting with individuals of all ages, from babies to the elderly.
A valid working with children's check is mandatory for applicants aged 18+
