As a Senior Engineering Leadership Position, you will be responsible for delivering multi-mission solutions that protect and empower naval forces worldwide.
This role requires collaboration and partnering with customers to ensure mission success. Expert solutions encompass an array of game-changing technologies, including state-of-the-art sonar, radar, expendables, signature management, and naval power systems.
The Systems Engineering function in this organization provides expertise to all projects through the bid and full development lifecycle. It ensures that both project and statutory requirements are met and works to improve the effectiveness of the systems design function.
This leadership role is responsible for managing people and their careers within Systems Engineering. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing engineering functional leadership.
* Maintaining appropriate personnel availability for customer-funded projects.
* Talent management and development of engineering personnel.
* Identifying, developing, and implementing new or updated policy, processes, and procedures.
* Ensuring provision of required engineering tools and equipment.
* Supporting and providing input to the annual planning process.
