About the Role
This is a senior opportunity shaping life-of-asset strategy for an underground gold mine in Western Australia. You'll be responsible for leading a small team, developing strategic designs, and delivering long-term forecasts.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor a small team of Planning Engineers.
* Deliver quarterly, half-yearly, and annual mine planning forecasts.
* Prepare and review designs, schedules, and economic models in Deswik.
* Manage Ore Reserve processes in line with JORC Code requirements.
* Collaborate with Geology, Geotechnical, and Production teams to align planning objectives.
* Identify process improvements and implement best practices.

Your Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering.
* 5-7+ years underground hard-rock experience in medium/long-term planning.
* Skilled in Deswik CAD, Scheduler, and SO.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proven leadership and mentoring capability.
* Mine Manager's or Supervisor's Certificate (advantageous).
* Current C Class Driver's Licence.
