Family Peer Worker

We invite applications from residents of Bairnsdale, Sale, and surrounding areas who are passionate about supporting others through their own lived experience.
The role involves working collaboratively with families, friends, and carers to provide personalized support and guidance on key areas of challenge.
You will work closely with participants to develop tailored action plans, facilitate network meetings, and deliver group intervention training and courses.
* Personal lived experience of caring for someone with mental health challenges or psychosocial distress and recovery
* Certificate IV/Diploma in Mental Health, AOD, or tertiary qualification in social science or 1+ year relevant work experience in the mental health sector
* Demonstrated knowledge of family and caring roles and the impact on carers' health and wellbeing
The role offers flexibility in scheduled working hours and may convert to full-time if desired.
