Australian Venue Co is on the hunt for a versatile Tournant Chef to join our Rockhampton & Yeppoon team. You’ll rotate across three recently refreshed venues: Leichhardt Hotel (is back and bigger than ever), Berserker Tavern (revitalised with a up-to-date, family-friendly feel), and The Strand in Yeppoon (a coastal gem with a refreshed dining experience). Each venue has had a new lease on life, offering you the chance to keep things fresh in your career too.
The Role
As a Tournant Chef, you’ll be the adaptable all-rounder – confident across every section, stepping in where needed, and ensuring quality remains high no matter the venue.
What You’ll Do
- Run any section of the kitchen with consistency and flair
- Adjust quickly to different teams, kitchens, and menus
- Support Head Chefs in leading shifts and mentoring juniors
- Maintain food quality, cost control, and compliance standards
About You
- Strong chef experience across multiple sections
- Leadership, organisation, and adaptability
- Positive, team-driven, and calm under pressure
- Valid driver’s licence & reliable car are essential
