Receptionist

We are looking for a Receptionist to join our Brisbane Studio in Fortitude Valley, collaborating with our Group Operations team to provide excellent organisational and administrative support to our local, national, and international teams. Strong client communication skills are essential, as this role serves as the first point of contact for clients and stakeholders.

This role can be a Full or Part time position.

Skills & Experience

Receptionists work under the direction of the Operations Director as an integral part of the Operations team. Receptionist provides support to all members of the office including the Principals, Executive management and Operations group to deliver high quality business outcomes. The Receptionist is a primary point of contact between MODE studios, clients, consultants and community, it is therefore important to project a welcoming, professional and cooperative persona.

Profile and Responsibilities

Successful candidates will have

* 3+ years Professional Experience: At least three years' experience in a similar receptionist role supported by strong customer service and administrative capabilities.
* Demonstrated Systems Proficiency: Proficiency in telephone and communications, general computer operations, and intermediate Microsoft Office 365 capability to create and manage templates and databases.
* Adaptability to learn systems and processes: Capacity to learn and operate IT and communication systems. Relevant business / administrative qualification and experience in finance systems such as MYOB, BST10, and video or voice communication tools highly regarded.
* Client Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating professionalism, organisation, effective multitasking, and excellent time management.
* Strong Initiative : A self-managed, motivated attitude with the ability to work unsupervised. Demonstrating strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, upskill, and embrace new opportunities.

You will be able to

* Work collaboratively with the Operations team to support staff, clients, and consultants while ensuring smooth day-to-day office functioning.
* Manage the reception area professionally, including greeting visitors, coordinating bookings, maintaining registers, and overseeing operational systems.
* Facilitate clear and effective communication between MODE studios, clients, consultants, and external stakeholders.
* Provide comprehensive administrative support—including travel coordination, meeting room and resource bookings, PA assistance, data entry, and maintaining office systems and supplies.
* Contribute to achieving company objectives through efficient administration, adherence to policies, and support of initiatives related to design excellence, finance, human resources, business expansion, and marketing.
