A leading organization is seeking a Mechanical Lead Engineer to support the delivery of major water projects across New South Wales.
* Oversee the mechanical design, implementation, and commissioning of major water infrastructure projects.
* Provide senior technical guidance during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
* E nsure compliance with mechanical design intent, technical specifications, and project milestones.
* Resolve complex technical issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical project delivery or technical tendering.
* Proven leadership in mechanical design and delivery for desalination or water treatment projects.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment selection, and installation practices.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience with procurement processes and vendor coordination.
* Ability to lead under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Willingness to travel interstate and internationally as required.
* Experience with digital engineering platforms (e.g., BIM) is highly valued.
