Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work with our team as a Maintenance Fitter.
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining site safety requirements, performing safety lockouts correctly, training and coaching staff, ensuring safety and control measures are maintained, diagnosing faults, coordinating installation work, liaising with onsite contractors, assisting with installation, testing, and commissioning machinery, reading engineering drawings and electrical diagrams, connecting wires and cables, testing, diagnosing faults, replacing faulty parts, installing electrical switchboards, and communicating with engineers and vendors.
Additionally, you will be working in day and afternoon shifts, maintaining site safety requirements, and ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least five years' experience in FMCG industries such as Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, Food, Beverage, Chemical, or Packaging.
* Experience in fault finding, root cause analysis, machine setup, and installations
* Experience with CMMS, SAP, permits, and change management systems
* Project installation experience is highly desirable
* Hands-on technical ability in factory automation and machinery maintenance
Qualifications
You will need to have a trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter and relevant training courses such as GMP, Quality, OH&S, 5S, Lean Manufacturing are advantageous.
* Certificate in Industrial Hydraulics
