Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock levels, handling customer queries, and ensuring the store is clean and well-organized.
* Stock Handling:
o Receive, check, and store incoming tobacco products and related items.
o Ensure correct stock rotation (FIFO) to maintain product freshness and legal compliance.
o Monitor stock levels and notify management of low inventory.
o Organize and maintain backroom storage areas for efficiency and safety.
o Unpack deliveries, verify invoices, and report discrepancies.
* Store Maintenance:
o Keep stock areas and sales floor clean, tidy, and well-organized.
o Dispose of packaging materials and expired or damaged products appropriately.
o Ensure compliance with health, safety, and tobacco regulations.
o Replenish shelves with tobacco products, accessories (lighters, papers, vape products), and merchandise.
o Assist with setting up in-store displays and promotional setups.
o Rotate and face stock to ensure shelves are visually appealing and products are accessible.
o Packing and weighing tobacco products for out-of-town bulk orders.
* Sales Support:
o Replenish shelves with tobacco products, accessories (lighters, papers, vape products), and merchandise.

o Packing and weighing tobacco products for out-of-town bulk orders.
* Record Keeping & Compliance:
o Maintain stock records (manual or digital) for inventory control.
o Follow legal requirements regarding tobacco handling, storage, and display.
o Adhere to age restriction policies and ID verification procedures, if involved in Sales.
* Customer Support:
o Assist customers with finding products or restocking requested items.
o Provide product information, under supervision and training (if required in front-line).
* Security:
o Report any suspicious activity or inventory discrepancies to management.
o Ensure secure storage of high-value or restricted products.
