Overview

Do you have 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the mining industry?

Do you have proven experience managing contractors and ensuring work is completed in accordance with the latest drawings and specifications?

Do you demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to build collaborative, productive working relationships?

The Supervisor Nightshift is responsible for overseeing and delivering all nightshift works associated with the HDPE lining works with our crystalliser scope on site. This role supports the Site Manager, Construction Manager and Construction team through effective field supervision, work planning, quality assurance, coordination of resources, and on-the-ground construction management to ensure activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.

As construction progresses at Mardie, we are continuing to shape our team. We are looking for an individual who is ready to be a part of this exciting operation, where you will have the opportunity to really make an immediate impact.

The Company

BCI Minerals is a values-driven company developing sustainable minerals for the modern world.

We are rapidly progressing the Mardie Salt Operation and Potash Project (Mardie Operation), a tier 1 solar evaporation project that will supply high-purity industrial salt and sulphate of potash (SOP) for more than 60 years.

Mardie will be the largest salt operation in Australia and the third largest globally. With first salt on ship on track to be achieved late next year, BCI Minerals is just at the beginning of its journey to become a key player in a multitude of globally significant sustainable opportunities.

Our values are the foundation of our success. They reflect our commitment to fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture driven by our people's collective efforts and unique strengths. They guide us in achieving our strategic goals and solidify our position as a leader in the industry.

The Role

We are seeking 2 Nightshift Supervisors to join our team on a 14:7 roster (13 nights on, travel home day 14, 7 days off) to support the HDPE lining of our crystallisers over the next 12 months. In this role, you will work closely with the Construction Manager and Site Manager to oversee and coordinate contractor activities during nightshifts, ensuring that project and contract objectives are consistently achieved.

You will carry out nightly inspections of contracted works, promptly identify issues and corrective actions, while ensuring all activities align with the latest approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and site entry requirements for personnel. You will play a key role in contractor coordination and performance management, maintaining accurate records of progress against schedule, reviewing delivery timelines, monitoring resources, and identifying risks to project milestones. This includes reporting daily on progress, materials, manpower, equipment, design issues, and any challenges impacting delivery, as well as contributing to weekly progress reports and attending pre-starts and contractor meetings.

About You

The Supervisor Nightshift will have 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory, superintendent, or inspector role, preferably within the Mining or Oil & Gas industry. They will bring proven experience in a construction environment, with a strong background in bulk civil earthworks and/or Structural, Mechanical, and Piping (SMP) works. It will be highly advantageous if you have delivered HDPE lining projects. You must hold your Statutory Supervisor (Section 26) qualification. The successful candidate will be comfortable in working nightshift, confident in managing on-site contractors and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a national police clearance that is not older than 3 months and must hold a WA White Card.

You must have current unrestricted working rights for Australia to be eligible for consideration.

What We Offer You

We offer a range of benefits to our employees, including:

* Maximum Term contract for 12 months on a 13:8 roster (13 night shifts on, 8 days off)
* Working from our new Mardie Village offering all the modern conveniences.
* Attractive salary packages including site allowances, annual and project incentives for all roles.
