We are currently seeking the role of Service Support Technician - Industrial/Marine Engines to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technician/mechanic to advance their career to the next level where interacting with customers directly providing technical support and assistance. The position will require some travel locally and interstate from time to time.
The position is suited to a person who is a self-starter that can work with minimal supervision. Has initiative, can forward plan and works well with other team members.
The successful candidate will report to the National Engineering & After Sales Manager.
Being able to demonstrate the following are a prerequisite
* Common Rail Diesel engine experience
* Electronic Engine, fault finding, testing and programming
* Warranty Diagnosis
* Inspect and Review Engine Installations to ensure they conform to all standards outlined by OEM
* Providing Technical assistance to end users/dealers and OEM's
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and attributes:
* Previous experience in the Diesel Engine service/support environment.
* Competent in use of Microsoft
* Customer orientated
* Demonstrated ability to complete company projects on time
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Have a great attitude, reliable and have a high level of initiative
* An ability to apply and adhere to OH&S in the workplace
Having experience working in the marine industry would be viewed favourably.
